Hi, I’m Büşra Dinçtürk.Fashion designer, visual storyteller, and lifelong explorer. My passion for art and design started early and led me to study painting at a fine arts high school, where I graduated with distinction in 2009. In 2011, I took the first step toward realizing my childhood dream and was accepted into Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, one of Turkey’s most prestigious art schools, to study Fashion and Textile Design. But design, for me, has always been about more than technique—it's about perspective, culture, and curiosity. This passion took me beyond borders. I studied English in the UK at Bournemouth Business School International, then spent a summer in New Jersey through the Work and Travel program, immersing myself in American culture. In 2013, I continued my fashion studies in Milan at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera through the Erasmus program, while learning Italian and experiencing the heart of the global fashion scene. Traveling across Europe during this time opened my eyes to countless ideas and aesthetics. In 2015, my curiosity took me even further—this time to South America. As someone who has been practicing Capoeira for over six years, I spent a month in Brazil to deepen my understanding of the art form and immerse myself in the rich culture behind it. This journey allowed me to connect with the vibrant rhythm, color, and spirit of Brazilian and broader South American culture—elements that continue to inspire my creative process today. One of the most impactful experiences in my journey was the Sacs Berbère project—a collaboration between Mimar Sinan and the University of Flensburg. Through this project, I visited Berber villages in Morocco, gaining insight into traditional crafts, textures, and patterns. It deepened my love for print and illustration, which became central to my design language. That same passion helped me win recognition two years in a row in the “Bir de sen tasarla” competition by Taç. In 2018, I was honored to be selected as a finalist in the Koza Young Fashion Designers Competition. From prints to fabric development and garment construction, I’ve always been eager to understand every layer of the design process. My creations are often inspired by the cultures I’ve encountered and the stories I’ve gathered along the way.Today, I live and work in Istanbul, where I continue to design with intention—blending traditional craftsmanship, contemporary fashion, and narrative design. I create all of my prints and artworks myself, drawing inspiration from personal experiences, global cultures, and the rhythm of daily life.To bring these ideas to life, I work under the name OI JUNGLE—my personal studio and creative space where I express my vision most freely. It is a reflection of my passion for bold storytelling, experimental design, and the raw beauty found in nature and culture.
